The Gist of Things

Here you can dig and find a variety of things, many of which are various projects I create for myself. Sometimes they become palpable in function. Regardless, I try to keep links from being broken and content current. The majority of the current work is found in the SlackBuilds git Repo, KDE Stuff on slackware and on my blog. On my blog, I generally have updates on the current project, as well as sometimes there will be tidbits of my thoughts.

I have pictures here for you to browse through, this is password protected, so contact me if you can't sign in.

Livelihood

I work at Awarix, now owned by McKesson.

KDE is my primary choice of window manager, for options, stabilty and configurablity. But XFCE runs a tight second.

I'm a *nix user, of all breeds, but primarily GNU/Linux. While I have or work with a variety of Linux distributions, I am a supporter of slackware Linux.

i recently watched a lecture of Randy Pausch, his last lecture, and followed up by looking into the Alice Project that he was a major part of. after a bit of playing with it, i have put together packaging scripts for slackware for it, Available here, and you can just download the slackpkg of it here.(it is dependent on jre-1.5 which is available there also)
cheers, and i'm glad there are great people out there in the world
