The Gist of Things

Here you can dig and find a variety of things, many of which are various projects I create for myself. Sometimes they become palpable in function. Regardless, I try to keep links from being broken and content current. The majority of the current work is found in the SlackBuilds SVN and on my blog. On my blog, I generally have updates on the current project, as well as sometimes there will be tidbits of my thoughts.

I have pictures here for you to browse through, this is password protected, so contact me if you can't sign in.

Livelihood

I work at Awarix, now owned by McKesson.

KDE is my primary choice of window manager, for options, stabilty and configurablity.

I'm a *nix user, of all breeds, but primarily GNU/Linux. Currently all operational systems include two Slackware boxes, two Ubuntu or Kubuntu systems, and an openSuSE system.

i recently watched a lecture of Randy Pausch, his last lecture, and followed up by looking into the Alice Project that he was a major part of. after a bit of playing with it, i have put together packaging scripts for slackware for it, Available here, and you can just download the slackpkg of it here.(it is dependent on jre-1.5 which is available there also)
cheers, and i'm glad there are great people out there in the world
